Liberty University isin that category.Position TitleOnline Adjunct Professor, School of Nursing – PharmDDoes this position require driving?NoContactSondra ReevesContact Phone ExtContact [email protected] Summary/Basic FunctionTeaching in the Online Doctoral program(s) to graduate studentspreparing to become Family Nurse Practitioners.The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for administrativeduties such as roster verification and final grade submission.Classroom responsibilities include timely communication withstudents (response to questions and grading are included in this),facilitating learning, and mentoring students.- Teach material from approved curriculum in accordance withassigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.- Assists students in achieving completion of objectives andlearning outcomes- Provides regular and timely feedback to students.- Participates in school retention initiatives by maintainingproductive contact with students and by getting in touch with andoffering assistance to absent students.- Advises students in matters related to academics, attendance, andbehavior.- Motivates students to actively participate in all aspect of theeducational process.- Maintains and reports student grades and attendance in accordancewith university policies- Other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsPharmacist with a Pharm D degree to teach graduate nursingprograms. Must be a committed Christian who is actively involved inan evangelical church.- Degree must be from an institution accredited by an accreditingagency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.- Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, andcommunication skills required.- Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills required.- Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignmentstimely and accurately with minimal supervision.- Proficiency in MS Office, Blackboard, and the Internet.- Able to obtain and maintain licenses if applicable as required bystate or accrediting commissions.- Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level isessential.- Applications for consideration will only be accepted via LibertyUniversity’s online automated application process.Preferred QualificationsRecent clinical experience / professional publications.
