This includes supervision of the EpilepsyProgram Medical Directors and Clinic Subspecialty Leaders. Thisposition would help develop, institute, and maintain best practiceswithin the Epilepsy Group and help foster academic pursuits for allof its clinical faculty and staff.Job Duties70% clinical effort will be devoted to assisting with in-patientservice, fellows clinic, neurosurgery candidate screening andreducing our wait list of patients for Epilepsy. Serviceresponsibility will include EEG, EMU and reading of studies.30% administrative effort will be devoted to continuing to fosterthe continuous success with the Department of Pediatric Neurology’sUSNWR ranking and relative changes to our practice with Care Firstetc., Legacy Tower, expansion of the Epilepsy service line.As a member of the National Association of Epilepsy Centers, ourLevel 4 program includes a 12 bed EMU as well as MEG, PET, SPECTand TMS services. Our hospitals located in Houston Texas, providePediatric Emergency Centers staffed by physicians who are boardcertified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine; acute care inpatientunits staffed by Pediatric Hospitalists; and intensive care unitsstaffed by Pediatric Critical Care specialists. A large cohort ofpediatric subspecialists provide inpatient and outpatient servicesat all locations (Main Campus, West Campus, and Woodlands).Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: M.D. or equivalent.Minimum Certification/Licensure: Licensed by the Texas MedicalBoard; obtainable upon hire offerBoard certified/eligiblelast_img
