Bahn, Porsch, and Tourelle-Fallon each earned All-GSC honors at least three times in their careers – a feat only five harriers in program history have achieved. The trio joins Bailee Hedstrom in GSC lore – Hedstrom was a second team selection for the 2000s All-Decade GSC squad. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A trio of UWF runners have been named to the Gulf South Conference Women’s Cross Country All-Decade teams, the league announced Thursday. Kelley Bahn is a first team choice, and she is joined by Renea Porsch and Karyssa Tourelle-Fallon on the second team. Renea Porsch was a three-time NCAA All-South Region performer and a three-time All-GSC runner, with first team honors coming in 2012-13. Porsch finished her career with eight top-10 finishes, more than any other UWF runner between 2010-13. Included in those top-10 placings were 5th-place finishes at the GSC Championships in 2012 and 2013. She was twice named the GSC Runner of the Week, and Porsch was a three-time member of the GSC Spring All-Academic team – the only Argonaut to accomplish the feat three times. #ARGOS#Print Friendly Version The most decorated student-athlete in the program’s history, Kelley Bahn was the 2011 GSC Freshman of the Year and capped off her career by earning GSC Runner of the Year accolades as a senior in 2014. Bahn was a four-time All-South Region runner and earned First Team All-GSC honors every year of her career. Bahn is the only four-time First Team All-GSC runner in UWF history, and she won the NCAA 2014 South Region Championship – the only runner in UWF history to do so. The Tallahassee, Florida, native holds the school records in the 5K (17:58.80) and the 6K (22:18.74), and has three more of the program’s top 10 times in the 5K. Karyssa Tourelle-Fallon, from nearby Navarre, Florida, was a model of consistency in the early part of the 2010s, taking First Team All-GSC and NCAA All-South Region honors each year from 2010-12. Like Porsch, Tourelle-Fallon is one of just four Argonauts to have earned three All-GSC honors in her career, and she joins Bahn and Porsch as the only runners in program history to earn at least three All-South Region awards. Tourelle-Fallon took four top-20 finishes, as a sophomore in 2010, which included a UWF-record 22:54 at the NCAA South Regional where she placed ninth. GSC WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY ALL-DECADE TEAM The Gulf South Conference will be announcing its all-decade teams for 14 sports throughout the months of June and July.
